Here's what you missed...

Here's a quick overview of what's been going on:

First there were some pictures...

...then I got really huge...so huge that at 36 weeks and 4 days,
Ryker decided he was ready to bust out of that joint...

...then we were really excited...

...then my doctor became my arch-enemy and made me have an "emergency" c-section
(because the only way he knows to deliver babies apparently is to
drug out the mother and make her be completely still,
and that wasn't happening)...

...while I was away, Reagen go to meet this
little love muffin.

Then Ryker had some trouble breathing,
(c-sections don't allow the fluid to get squeezed out of a baby's lungs,
so he had some fluid that needed to work it's way out)
so he went to the Special Care Nursery and was put
under an oxygen tent.

Birth stats:
Born at 0939 on February 12, at 36 weeks & 5 days
Weighed 8 lbs 1 oz, 20 inches long

Here's the first time we saw his eyes open:

A funny face:

When he was 3 days old, I was discharged from the hospital.
So everyday we drove a half hour to the hospital to see him, then drove a half hour home.
Not cool when you're recovering from surgery. Not cool ever.

The first time I ever got to hold him, on Day 4. <3
On Day 8 the nurse called and told us we could spend the night
with Ryker in a room at the hospital, and if all went well, he could go home
the next day. And so we did.

Reagen holding him that day for the first time ever!

And some adorable pictures from Ryker's first night out of the Special Care Nursery:

Then we got to leave the hospital all together on Day 9...finally!!!
